OK, lets try the new hopefully bug free chat—–It has to work eventually- I feel that maybe I got it working this time

OK, the chat program is starting to show it is having trouble, why are chat rooms so difficult to work with, I am pulling the chat down for a while to see if I can work out the bugs.

Ok, once again not my fault that the site crashed but more to do with internet connection. I have taken steps necessary to ensure this will not happen again. I tried but was unable to recover the previous content so I took the opportunity to make some site enhancements. Everyone will have to redo the friend requests and your profile info needs to be updated, sorry I know it is a pain but bear with me. Continue reading below for more important info.

Now when you log in you will be automatically redirected to your profile page.

There is now an album in your profile and it is very simple for you to add your own photos, also decide whether your photos will be public, private or only for your friends.

I completely redid the whole chat process because it was giving me to many problems (the database was overfilling and locking up the system causing constant refresh) anyway if you look at the top menu bar you will now see a chat tab – there are two selections shoutbox and chat. The shout box just pulls up little box that gives a quick look at who is chatting- the chat is where you actually chat from, You will receive a notification sound and the chat in the top menubar will blink if someone logs in to their chatpage so you do not have to keep it open to know if someone is chatting. The chat page is very customizable so feel free to mess with it. I have had some problems getting it to work perfectly in Internet Explorer so if you are having problems with it switch to Google Chrome it  is a better internet browser that is more secure and faster. If you do not have it you can download it from here (Google Chrome). It is a very easy process. You should probably use it anyway because like I said, it is a significantly better internet browser. Firefox is another browser that also works well. If you are having problems with the whole browser issue just let me know and I will give you more info, like I said though it is really easy to do.

Another feature that was added was the ability for you to make blog posts. To do this simply go to the top menu bar to  My Account and a drop down will apppaer then go to blogs / quickpress and it will take you to a page where you can post whatever your heart desires.

All the other features are basically the same, try not to get stuck on one page, look around at your profile, test it out, click on things, you cant break it. This is how I test what my site is capable of and where I need to make improvements and I can only do that with all of your feedback. Do not get stuck in the chat page, there are many other ways to put out info, the chat page is currently set so that it will only save the last ten messages.

If you input any video / image URL from one of the listed sites below into an activity update or forum post in Zombielink, When the update is posted, the URL automagically transforms into the  Video / Image  content.
